Nineties Movie Bliss On Netflix – As If!

Feeling nostalgic? Why not take a walk down memory lane and embrace some classic films and the quotes that made them hits.

Along with cinema gold the 90s brought with it classic fashion trends such as the bowl cut, scrunchies and the overpowering scent of CK one – yes not all of them left much to be desired, but the following films have proved the test of time.

Lets reminisce…

The Addams Family (1991) & Addams Family Values (1993) If you read my last post you should have full access to the world of Netflix (SEE HERE), which means unlike the UK who can only watch the first Addams Family film you’ll be able to enjoy the perks of the sequel too. YES more Wednesday Addams action than you can handle. This girl has killer one liners – literally. Film 2 pt 1Film 2 pt 2Film 2 pt 3

Clueless (1995) As if! – yep that’s a keeper. As well as being the ultimate 9os girl crush Cher had it all: a massive mansion, killer wardrobe and a ridiculously cute step brother who you know as Paul Rudd. Clueless GIF.gif

Cruel Intentions (1999) Drugs, sex and high school drama? Yep Cruel Intentions shone light on the seedy lives of the rich and popular – PLUS it was recently announced that a Cruel Intentions television show is in the works with Sarah Michelle Gellar taking back her bitchiest role to date (CAN’T WAIT). Cruel Intentions.gif

Pulp Fiction (1994) Whether you’re a Quentin Tarantino buff or a newbie to the scene I couldn’t think of a better film to kick start your new obsession. Pulp Fiction.jpg

Shakespeare in Love ( 1998) This year marked 400 years since William Shakespeare’s death, his works have shaped our very existence, and especially what we now see on our screens. Travel back in time and see through the eyes of a young Shakespeare (well sort of), hungry for love and inspiration. The film even bagged Gwyneth Paltrow an Oscar.  shakespeare in love.jpg
