Cosmopolitan #fashfest 2015

As all fashion bloggers know these next few weeks are vital in ensuring you’re up-to-date with the latest trends, styles and of course following your favourite designers. It is *drum roll please* FASHION WEEK. Over the past week NYC have dazzled us with the newest styles for SS16, and soon it will be London’s turn.

This week Cosmopolitan magazine are hosting five days of fashion events. Which started with a show-stopping lingerie display – possibly the best way to kick off your week. I was lucky enough to attend the soiree. The night started off with lavish brands including: Very, Freya, Evans, Tutti Rouge, Figleaves, Next, Ultimo, Ted Baker, George and H&M – all offering a look at the latest styles, and some giving away stylish freebies!

And it didn’t stop there. We were provided with complimentary prosecco, cocktails, canapés and beauty treatments galore – Setting us up for the nights main event. Before the runway display we were treated to a beautiful performance from Rae Morris in honour of breast cancer charity Coppafeel. Now Coppafeel have built an amazing reputation over the past couple of years, and their next step is to get fashion labels to stitch friendly reminders into their bras so that us women will remember to check our boobs – fashion forward right?!

On to the runway show! I was glad to see both slim and curvier girls modelling the lingerie, sharing the catwalk side by side. The whole show oozed glamour and confidence – I’ll take every item please!

At the end of the evening we were given more freebies by Cosmo (something I never turn down), making it a fab end to a fashion filled night.
